The Mayan Sun Ring draws from the powerful mythology of the ancient Mayan civilization, where the Sun was worshipped as the god Kinih Ahous. According to legend, he journeyed across the sky each day, only to transform into a jaguar by night—bravely navigating the darkness of Xibalba, the underworld. This ring captures that duality of light and shadow, strength and mystery. More than a symbol of the sun, it reflects the deep cosmic wisdom the Mayans believed flowed through the movement of celestial bodies.
