The Senatus Ring is inspired by Lucius Tarquinius Priscus, Rome’s fifth king and founder of the senate. Modeled after the ancient “escroe” scroll rings once worn by Roman senators, it features gemstones at each end—and a hidden gem beneath—symbolizing the quiet strength of inner virtue and the elegance of restraint. Hand-sculpted in wax by Rafael Indiana, each piece is one-of-a-kind, echoing the dignity and refinement of ancient Rome.

Every Rafael Indiana product is handcrafted by artisans in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, from wax making each piece unique. Due to the handmade nature of our products, there may be slight variations in color and craftmanship. We believe it gives the product its authentic ancient beauty.
